Dear Victoria-

I am an RN and patient as I was diagnosed with NMO over a year ago. I was initially diagnosed with Lupus in 2003 but now we believe that I also had NMO at the time. I have seen Dr. Sean Pittock at the Mayo Clinic in MN for this disease and am encouraged that with your help all the physicians and researchers will be able to battle this disease so that no one else has to go thru this.

In 2007 I had to "retire" from my job as a critical care RN and miss it horribly. Being disabled was never on my radar screen but it did happen, unfortunately.

I would be very interested in participating in your patient forums in the future.
