The mission of the Foundation is to end the devastating effects of Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO). Support for this site is from the operating budget of the Foundation.

This social network is intended for the use of the NMO community to promote an understanding of NMO, its treatment and prognosis.  The NMO commuity includes  NMO patients,  support groups, doctors, researchers, the Guthy-Jackson Foundation, its benefactors,  their families and friends.  Feel free to ask questions, share your experiences, and help others learn about NMO.
