My Neurologist recently changed my medication from Imuran to CellCept. Can anyone give me some feedback on this? Good move or not?

CellCept (mycophenolate mofetil) is an excellent immunosuppressant and we have many here who have used it with success.
Keep in mind that treatment is very individualized. What works for one patient, might not work for another. I failed and continued to relapse on Imuran (azathioprine) yet I have NMO friends that have been neurologically stable on Imuran for many years.
Also, one must remember that none of the currently used NMO preventative/maintenance treatments are *guaranteed* to prevent relapse, the goal being to hopefully extend the amount of time between relapses and to mitigate the severity if and when a relapse occurs.
