Sorry you will not be able to go, Michelle! However, I am beyond excited you are seeing Dr Cree! He is usually at the conference himself, I wonder if he is not going this year or if he is leaving after the doctor conference on Tuesday.
I will not be able to attend this year either & had planned to watch it online. However, Collin has ended up with an appointment in Atlanta on that day, so I will miss watching it too!! Hope they put it online very soon!!

Well that is beyond good news Michelle! It's excellent news! My neuro consults with Dr. Cree so I know he is awesome. I know you are sad that you won't get to meet us in person and I'm sad too that I won't get to meet you! The other good news though is that the Conference is videotaped and will be online for those who couldn't attend OR watch live online. I attended last year AND watched the video. It was great because you can watch it over and over and catch things that you either missed when you attended (either live or online) or missed when you watched the video the first time.
We're going to miss you Michelle and of course we will all be posting like crazy about the things that we saw and that happened while we were there.
Tracy

Lisa and Tracy,
Thank you! I'm so sorry Lisa that you too have to miss. I hope Colin is doing well. I see everyone's posts and I've added my NMO family to my prayers. I have 5 kids and my little guy is 6years old. I know how rough it is dealing with myself having this disease. I cannot imagine it being on of my kids. So YOU are totally in my prayers!!!
Tracy, I didn't know the conference was posted online. Thank you for telling me. I hope to watch it Thursday, since we'll be in San Fran till late Wednesday....Yes, Dr. Cree has been so great. I saw him for my 2nd opinion right after I got diagnosed. My husband and I really like him and and we are really thrilled that my insurance has agreed to let me go to him since he's out of network for our plan. I got to meet several of the researchers from their lab that are on one of the videos. They are very nice and drove out while Dr. Cree was seeing me and drew my blood for their dna/gentics testing for NMO.
I don't know about the Doctor's conference on Tuesday, but I'm positive Dr. Cree won't be there on the Patient Day, because his nurse just called me this morning to check on me and he had her schedule me for next Wednesday with him. I do know that his collegues, Dr. Waubant (I saw her in 2003 when we thought I had MS-She's really great too) and Dr. Verkman from UCSF will be there.
Well, I'll sure miss meeting you girls!!! Please keep me posted:)
